Electrolizing: An Overview of the Process
Electrolizing is a process used to coat metals with a thin layer of another metal through electrolysis. This process is commonly used to improve the appearance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance of metal products. During electrolizing, the metal to be coated is immersed in an electrolyte solution and connected to a power source. A current is passed through the solution, causing metal ions to be deposited onto the surface of the metal. The thickness and properties of the coating can be controlled by adjusting the voltage, current, and duration of the process.
